As a Director of Insight Translation at Lextant, I work to make user research findings actionable, insightful, meaningful, and descriptive for our clients through use of visual communication design and information graphics.

All work, done on behalf of Lextant, for private corporations is confidential and cannot be shown publicly on this website.

Discover what customers really want

the Lextant book on user experience research

I worked with the Lextant research and design teams to write and design the now published book “User Experience Research: Discover What Customers Really Want”. I was involved in all phases of the up-front book development including but not limited to: design aesthetic and guides, chapter organizing, content writing, image sourcing, icon creation and page layout. I also developed the strategy to share this book with key clients and networks. This included sourcing materials to design and implement the complete out-of-box delivery experience.

Understand the desired emotional experience of vehicle owners, along with the benefits that deliver that experience.

The Ideal In-Vehicle Experience

a point-of-view research paper & book design on the in-vehicle experience

At Lextant, we focus our work on discovering ideal experiences through rigorous co-creation and qualitative research methods. We uncover what consumers want down to the core element—emotions, benefits, features, and sensory cues. In my current role at Lextant, I developed the company's point of view (POV) on the Ideal In-Vehicle Experience for consumers and, specifically, drivers.

The content presented in the final book is a synthesis of research findings derived from several projects conducted by Lextant. After organizing the content into manageable chunks, I wrote definitions for the key emotional benefits to the vehicle experience as well as all supplementary information found within the book. Once content was written and reviewed, I gathered appropriate images to represent concepts and created a compelling layout. This resource is now being used to promote Lextant online, at conferences, and in potential new client meetings.

The Ideal Smart technology

a point-of-view research paper & book design on smart technology

I worked with Lextant design researchers to develop the company's point of view (POV) on the Ideal Smart Technology for consumers.

Similar to the Ideal In-Vehicle Experience work, the content presented in this final book is a synthesis of research findings derived from several projects conducted by Lextant. I received an initial draft of written content from which I edited and finalized. Then, I developed the book layout and design after which I sought a local printer to prepare hard-copy books. This resource is now being used to promote Lextant online, at conferences, and in potential new client meetings.
